Technical specifications

UniFiber 250 is a new generation alkaline resistant chopped strand fiber produced from coated fiberglass. UniFiber 250 is especially developed to be used as a secondary reinforcing material to concrete and cementbased mortars to prevent plastic shrinkage cracks. UniFiber 250 is 18 mm length. Other fiber lengths are also available upon request.

Uses

UniFiber 250 is added to concrete and cement base mortars where no cracks are permitted. It is also used as reinforcement for civil engineering decorative materials (such as GRC) and gypsum mortars.

Typical floor applications are:

  • Concrete floor slabs and slabs-on-grade.

  • Interior and exterior plaster.

  • Shotcrete repair mortars.

  • Driveways and sidewalks.

  • Stucco, overlays and toppings.

  • Airport runways.

  • New Jersey concrete barriers.
